On May 9, the feature film "House of the “Word" An endless novel" will be released for national distribution
The fascinating script, which is verified by the documentary, the incredible cast, the exquisite cinematography, the crazy atmosphere of the 20-30s, the heyday of avant-garde art - everything reflects that time 100 years ago so that we can see us today - in the bloody meat grinder of the Russian horde. It is very important that the feature film The House of Slovo. An Endless Novel" is being released right now at a crucial time for Ukraine.
What the movie is about:
1927. Soviet Ukraine. By order of Stalin, the cooperative house "Slovo" is built in Kharkiv. The most prominent Ukrainian writers are moved into comfortable apartments. All of them became participants in an experiment aimed at developing a new type of Soviet writer and total control over the creative process in order to create a single artistic method of socialist realism, and not all of them agree to glorify the cult of Stalin. Unexpectedly for the residents of the Slovo house, an unknown young writer, Vladimir Akimov, is moved in. Who is he? No one knows. With his arrival, strange events begin to unfold in the Slovo house, and its walls remain silent about them.
