Recently, at the Donetsk Cultural Hub, another educational online lecture for children took place as part of the “ROZUMfest 2025” children’s creativity competition. The event was held in collaboration with the National Reserve “Hetman’s Capital” in Baturyn and is part of a broader series of initiatives aimed at promoting Ukrainian history and culture among youth.

The lecture, titled “Kyrylo Rozumovskyi and His Role in the Development of the Hetmanate,” was both fascinating and informative. Through an interactive presentation, the children had the opportunity to learn more about one of the key figures in Ukrainian history — Kyrylo Rozumovskyi, the last Hetman of Left-Bank Ukraine. The speaker, Anastasiia, highlighted his contributions to strengthening the Hetmanate and advancing education and culture, as well as his political and cultural achievements.

This event not only introduced young participants to historical facts but also helped develop their critical thinking and fostered genuine interest in their country’s past. Children were encouraged to ask questions and received engaging answers from the expert — a valuable opportunity for deeper understanding.

We would also like to thank our partners — EKO-SFERA and the Oleh Honcharuk Foundation — for supporting the event with delicious and healthy treats, which made the experience not only educational but also enjoyable.

Thanks to such initiatives, we’re not only creating educational spaces for young people, but also making learning fun, accessible, and inspiring — giving children a fresh perspective on Ukrainian history and culture.
