Opening of the memorial bas-relief in honor of the Primate of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Mykola Boretskyi
The opening of the memorial bas-relief in honor of the Primate of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Mykola Boretsky was successful!
In 1930, Mykola Boretsky was arrested by Moscow-Bolshevik executioners, and then sent to a concentration camp. He became a victim of persecution because of his beliefs and loyalty to Ukraine. But even in the most difficult times, when our country was subjected to brutality, Mykola Boretsky did not stop in his efforts to support culture and nurture cultural memory.
We are proud to be a part of this incredible event and that our charitable foundation helped finance this important bas-relief. The founder of our foundation, Nadia Vovk, also managed to convey an important idea about cultural heritage to many people. We strongly emphasize the importance of preserving our cultural memory, our identity. These are not just words, but an integral part of our national spirit. It must be supported and protected, especially in the most difficult times. Culture is our face, our strength, for which we fight.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this important event. A great thing we can be proud of!
