Humanitarian aid to the children of Izyum and the Lyman community
We prepared for a long time before the New Year's humanitarian trip to the de-occupied Izyum and Lyman: we collected warm things for the children, bought sweet gifts, attracted charitable brands and many caring people so that the children could feel the holiday. Thanks to joint work, the children received 155 packages of sweets. Children in Izyum went home with 44 packages of warm clothes and shoes. Children in Lyman received warm gifts in 18 large boxes. In addition to the children, we also brought food for the elderly, necessary tools for the local emergency services and food for the dogs. Despite all the scary shots and broken buildings, we want to please you with good news: life in the de-occupied cities is being restored. Compared to our last trip in November, there are more people on the streets, less debris and garbage, roads and houses have begun to be rebuilt, a weak but connection has appeared. It's inspiring.
