Culture is what unites us. It is what remains, even when everything else changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sincerely thank the National Reserve \u201cHetman\u2019s Capital\u201d for the invitation to the opening of the exhibition \u201cPylyp Orlyk. The Hetman\u2019s Path.\u201d It is a great honor for us to be among the guests of such an event that returns us to the depths of Ukrainian history and reminds us of the power of Ukrainian statehood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is especially symbolic that the exhibition opened right before Constitution Day in Ukraine. After all, Pylyp Orlyk was the man who gifted Ukraine its first Constitution back in 1710. His journey is a story of struggle for the freedom of the Ukrainian nation, of Ukraine\u2019s diplomatic presence on the European stage, and of the aspiration for independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition reveals the multifaceted figure of Orlyk through old printed books, maps, engravings, paintings, weapons, and \u2014 most importantly \u2014 rare archival documents from Ukraine, Poland, France, and Sweden. For the first time, unique copies of documents from the Swedish State Archives are presented \u2014 discovered by Ukrainian historians only in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition can be visited at the Museum of Books and Printing of Ukraine from June 24 to December 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We truly believe that every Ukrainian who attends such events not only learns about history, but also honors the memory of a great hetman and preserves a living connection to their own identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was especially valuable for us to hear the speeches of the organizers, historians, and to have the opportunity to listen to the third President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, who shared his deep vision of the importance of Ukrainian history, Pylyp Orlyk\u2019s Constitution, and our responsibility to future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
